GPPS (General Purpose Polystyrene), commonly known as "transparent polystyrene", is one of the most widely used plastics. It has excellent transparency, high stiffness, and excellent formability (injection molding, extrusion, foaming, etc.). It has good chemical stability and is resistant to most inorganic acids and alkalis, but is easily corroded by organic solvents such as alcohol and gasoline. GPPS is used for disposable cups, boxed lunch boxes, household cutlery boxes, candy trays, packaging, CD boxes, seasoning containers, various films, etc.
