ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a popular engineering plastic that is commonly manufactured through the copolymerization of three monomers: acrylonitrile (A), butadiene (B), and styrene (S).
The proportion of three monomers can be adjusted. Typically, styrene accounts for 60%, acrylonitrile 25%, and butadiene 15%. This composition provides the material with luster and processability, chemical resistance, and toughness, respectively.
Milky white particles characterize the material with a density ranging from 1.04 to 1.06 g/cm 3 . It is a non-crystalline material with a temperature resistance range of -25 ℃ to 80 ℃ for long-term use.
The material exhibits strong impact resistance, especially at low temperatures. It also boasts high surface smoothness, making it easy to dye, electroplate, or paint.
